A Med-Surg nurse was tidying up an elderly woman's room when a male phlebotomist arrived to draw blood. The patient watched with interest as he tied a tourniquet, found a vein, inserted a needle, and collected several tubes of blood. As he was preparing to leave, the patient offered complimented him on his blood-drawing technique:
"You have a nice prick," she said earnestly.
I'm sure that made his day.
